Home Description

Description of the home

You’ll have your own private room and bathroom in this cozy apartment.

I’m happy to share my pots, pans and kitchen appliances as long as they are treated carefully:)

The building also has some great shared amenities—gym, sauna, steam room, pool, and a beautiful BBQ area. If you’d like to have friends over now and then, that’s a great option to hang out while keeping the apartment itself peaceful.

I’m not into parties and rarely have people over, just the occasional dinner with family. I see home as a quiet, peaceful space and would love to live with someone who feels the same. I don’t mind if you bring friends over now and then, just a heads-up would be appreciated.

Bills and expenses

Rent includes internet, water, and electricity within reasonable use. I’ll also provide shared essentials like tea towels, dishwashing liquid, tablets, and hand wash to keep things simple for both of us.

I’m happy to include the bills to make things easier, but I do ask that we’re both mindful of electricity use.
Normal electricity usage is usually between $80–$100 per month, and I budget up to $120 just to keep things fair. If we ever go above that amount, I may ask you to cover the extra cost.

About occupants
Hey! I’m Zoe, 25, currently studying a Master of Business in Organizational Sustainability and working part-time. I study from home a few days a week, and the rest of the time I’m either out working, on campus, or at the pottery studio.

I live a quiet, health-conscious lifestyle—early mornings and home-cooked meals. I love cooking and make most of my meals at home (and the pantry full of spices and seasonings!) In my spare time, I love making pottery and sewing, so you might occasionally see ceramic pieces drying on the floor or a sewing project set up in the living room. I also enjoy baking, reading, and spending weekends in nature when I can.

I’m clean, respectful, emotionally aware, and mindful of shared spaces. While I enjoy social time with friends, I see home as a peaceful sanctuary. I’m looking for a housemate who values calm, kindness, and open communication.

If that sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you!
Compatible people
I’m looking for a housemate who’s kind, clean, and respectful—someone who values calm and open communication in a shared space. I’d especially love to live with someone who also enjoys a stable daily routine and prefers waking up and going to bed on the earlier side, like I do. If you’re someone who appreciates a peaceful, cozy home and is mindful of shared spaces, I think we’ll get along well!
