It comes with with a built-in mirrored wardrobe, and has a large, with blinds that are very good at blocking most of the light.

You’ll be sharing the bathroom with 1 other housemate, and there are 2 more toilets on the lower floors, so you’ll never be stuck waiting for someone!

🏠 Spacious Sherwood Townhouse 🏠

3 storeys, 2 balconies, 2 bathrooms, a toilet on every floor, and 3 spacious bedrooms.

The top floor has the bedrooms, the middle floor has the kitchen/dining/living and balconies, and the bottom floor is another living space with a back yard which I’d like to make into a fun hobby space if possible, with WFH integration.

This home also has the added beauty of 3 off street car parks.

📍Quiet & Convenient Location📍

The house is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station, Woollies, Snap Fitness and way more, and a 10-15 minute walk from way more restaurants.

10 minute drive or train ride from Indooroopilly shopping centre and 20 minutes from many other restaurants.

We’re on a quiet street, down the end of the townhouse complex so it’s surprisingly quiet. Even the train isn’t too loud, with a faint “Choo Choo” every so often. Kinda aesthetic actually.

Once my roommates move out this huge place will largely be unfurnished so please feel free to bring any appliances/furniture you want!

I have 2 couches, some bookshelves and a small dining table, and if necessary I’m happy to work together to buy the appliances to make the house run smoothly also.

🐾 Pets 🐾

My 3 year old medium hair Russian Blue cross cat Monty lives here. He’s super friendly, loves a game or a chin scratch, and barely sheds.

While Monty is friendly with cats and people, he’s not a fan of dogs, so no dogs please.

If you do have a cat, I’d love to chat about introductions to make sure our cats get along (or at least don’t hate each other lol).

Ideally I’m looking for someone who is friendly, clean, tidy and respectful, and who is cool with Monty. Definitely prefer non-smokers. Also, guests are always welcome so long as they’re respectful and pleasant.

The move in date would be 26th of April 2024 and the lease will end on 17th of December 2024,

I love it here so ideally I would like to live here for 1-2 more years.

Bills and expenses

I’m not 100% sure if all the bills will stay the same, as the bills are under one of my current roomies’ names, and he has an electric car, but currently the power, gas, water and internet has been a max of $321 for a month for the whole house.

This being said, my current housemate owns an electric car and this was during summer when the aircon was blasting all day, so the amount will likely reduce.

Hi, I’m Lizzy! ☺️

I’m the only housemate now as my two previous housemates are buying their first home together.

I’m 26 year old F and have a beautiful 3 year old Russian Blue cat called Monty.
Monty loves people and is very friendly with other cats, but doesn’t enjoy dogs. He loves to play with his many many toys and is always keen for a chin scratch.
I love hiking through the mountains, doing yoga and Pilates, drawing portraits of stock photo models, playing board games with friends and playing with Monty.

Generally I try to get out as much as possible on weekends, and prefer to relax at home on the weeknights.
In terms of work, I’m a full time Client Services Administrator for an accounting firm.

I’m a clean, tidy and respectful person who appreciates good chats with the people I spend time with.

As for friends and guests, my partner stays over a couple nights per week, and my friends and family sometimes come over for a cup of tea or some boardgames. I also like the odd house party or drinks catch-up.

My beautiful cat Monty lives here with me. He’s a friendly 3 year old medium haired Russian Blue cross. He’s almost always up for a game or some chin scratches, but the closest thing to cuddles you’ll get is him curling up next to you with a single part of his body touching a single part of your body. Because of his breed, he also barely sheds, which is a plus!
