Sorting homes by rent including bills
Some homes include bills in the rent, but most don't. When the list of homes is sorted by rent amount it's important that homes with bills in the rent are grouped with homes that have similar rents so they're not overlooked.
For this reason we reduce the amount by $25 PW for homes that include bills in the rent. However, when people open the profile they see the correct amount, plus a note that the rent includes bills.
Rent is an important requirement for flatmates. Therefore we recommend entering an amount that excludes bills in the bedroom description and writing the amount that includes bills in the "Bills and expenses" question.
