Home Description
Description of the home
The flat is in a relatively small building above a doctor's surgery in Darlinghurst, opposite the National Art School. The 389 bus stop is just outside, and Taylor Square is a few minutes away. It takes 15/20 mins to walk into the city, or 10 mins to King's Cross station. Supermarkets are walking distance away not to mention a million cafes, restaurants nearby. Very conveniently located. A street parking permit would be available to buy from the council and it's never hard to find parking nearby if you have a car.
The flat itself is a nice size, has two bedrooms and a lounge room with separate kitchen and a small bathroom with shower, wc, sink. The kitchen has a gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, various appliances and is fully stocked on the crockery / cookware / spice / cookbook front.
There are timber floors throughout, and timber doors/ windows. The building was built in the 30s/40s so very solidly built and there's good sound insulation between floors etc.
The building also has a shared rooftop terrace with city views, furniture and a shared clothesline.
