Polished concrete floors and a large woodfire that heats the space well. The house contains beautiful hardwood finishes throughout from the eucalypts that were milled onsite.

The property sits at the end of a no through road which ends in the State Forest. It sits on a large block of land (2,842 m²), with a big backyard that leads down to a creek at the bottom. We can be immersed in tree ferns and mountain ash forest within a 50m walk from our door.

About the occupants
Mark (he/him), 35 - an outdoor and environmental education teacher working at a boarding school in the Yarra Valley. I work on a rotating roster which means I sometimes work nights and weekends, and sometimes have weekdays off. In my free time I like to be outside, often mountain biking, hiking or just going for walks. I enjoy social times with friends and having people over for dinner or a movie.

Abbey (she/her), 23 - An outdoor education teacher that works on the same rotating roster as Mark. Will be coming and going from the house on different days. I enjoy going to the gym, drinking coffee at a cafe and soaking up the sun by the water while reading a good book or accompanied by friends.
