Other information
The landlord has said the room can be painted white if we want to do so. Two double glazed windows with an east facing aspect.
We're also mindful of keeping the rent on the cheaper end as we utilise the rooms downstairs for our own purposes and wanted to make sure your share reflects that.
Further on the above use of the below rooms (the two living rooms): I am a freelancer/musician who runs vocal lessons and Kinesiology sessions from one of the living rooms. Bradley works from home a few days week and his living room doubles as his office. On top of this, we also run a non for profit Music Theatre Charity which run rehearsals (from time to time) in one of the living rooms.
The rent is kept low due to Bradley and myself using the other rooms for extracurricular projects and work.

A large home, semi-detached, with beautiful hardwood floors and fairy lights throughout. Set on the top of a hill overlooking Kooyong Station, our house is has both the 16 and 58 trams at our doorstep. Air conditioning in each bedroom, high ceilings on both floors, plenty of storage space and other than the bedroom it's fully furnished. Street parking has no time limits, a park almost next door, and a short walk to supermarkets in almost all directions.

Home features

  • Air-conditioning
  • Living area heating
  • Broadband Internet

Bills and expenses

Bills are relatively inexpensive, and divided equally. We find we don't need to use heating or cooling too often due to the nature of the house.

About the occupants
Two of us live here!

Brad works for the federal government in people and culture during the day, and as CEO of a charity at all other times. He's interested in self development, cross stitch, pinot noir, and living a happy life. He runs a coaching business that ranges from singing to organisational. Brad works in a hybrid environment (in the office and at home)

Daniele is both a piano playing music director and a kinesiologist, loving the hybrid that comes with working with the body while supporting expression. He's into meditation, yoga, and is an aspiring chef. He works from home teaching people how to use their voices to sing, and also starting a kinesiology business.
Compatible people
We've made this house our home, and would love someone to join us who is mindful of the many hats we wear. We usually end each day sharing a meal, watching a TV show together, and debriefing on the day. We run a performing arts charity that sometimes uses the space, so someone who doesn't mind a bit of noise (singing mostly) and is happy to go with the flow would be ideal.

We're looking for someone who is considerate and mindful of the additional activities we run outside of our day to day jobs.

Ideally someone who enjoys interaction but is not solely dependant on socialising with their housemates. Someone who is confident within themselves. Someone who is always seeking to learn and be curious.
