Hi there!
Short term room for rent available in Richmond (located just off Bendigo Street). Available from the 4th June 2025 until 4th September 2025 with potential to either take over the lease or stay on as my housemate (I haven’t decided as yet!)
Rent inclusive of all bills (utilities, internet plus fortnightly cleaner).
The room available is the one closest to the door on the floor plan and you will have access to your own bathroom.
You will be sharing the apartment with me (Lucy) - however, I will be away working in Bendigo for most of the time up until the start of August so you will have the apartment to yourself a lot! All that I ask is that you occasionally water my plants and keep the place neat and tidy.
Great location, in between two tram lines and 5 minute walk to Burnley Station. Close to all the attractions of both Swan St and Bridge Rd, with easy access to Monash freeway and the biking and walking paths along the Yarra River.
The apartment will be fully furnished and the room can come with a bed if you need.
I currently use the underground carpark but I’m happy for you to use this if needed whilst I am away.
The complex itself has a community centre and cafe onsite and the building has a shared BBQ area and courtyard garden. It has a great community feel!

It is important that the person is used to living in a shared space and enjoys their independence but is also happy to share the occasional meal or friendly chat.
I am reasonably clean and tidy and enjoy living in a nice environment and would like to live with someone who has similar standards and is willing to share responsibility for the housework!
As I do work shift-work (and sometimes need to sleep during the day/have weekdays off work), I would prefer someone who is not working from home too often - there is no separate office area in the apartment.
