Closest shops: The Happy Apple Newport, and Newport/ Mason St shopping strip. Easy drive up the road to Bunnings Altona, or to Altona Gate Shopping Centre. We're also really close to Newport Lakes Reserve (less than 10 min walk).

Hi there! I'm Clare; a cis queer neurodivergent woman in my late 20s. I'm Australian born and have lived in Melbourne for 8 years. I work part-time (Tue/Thu/Fri) as a paediatric occupational therapist (OT), running my own business in Altona North.

Outside of work, I'm either hanging out at home, out exploring with my dog Sasha, or semi-frequently road-tripping back to my parents' place in country Vic. I enjoy fanfic, singing and music, and dog walks/ nature adventures.

When I have the time, I love cooking, gardening, and generally being creative. I'm usually up for a chat about OT and neurodivergent topics, and will say hi to dogs almost before their people.

My dog Sasha is my baby, so an ideal housemate will also be fond of dogs. As for me, I like sharing meals with others, chatting about our days, and having someone around to share a cuppa with and split the chores.

I'm fairly chatty and extroverted - I come from a large family, so I'm used to a bit of bustle and noise. That being said, everyone needs their downtime, including me. Communication is really important to me, as I appreciate knowing what to expect from others. On the whole, I'm pretty easygoing and hope you are too.
Description of pets
My dog Sasha is a large mixed breed dog. She's a total sweetheart - I like to describe her as my "toddler-teenager princess". She's full of attitude, empathy and energy - though at 6 years old, she's finally found her off-switch and is a total couch hog too. She loves sunbathing, chew toys, walks, and Her People. Sasha is very clever; she knows a number of words, phrases, and context cues, and is an expert at picking up on (and trying to improve) the moods of those around her.
