Description of the home

The house is located right near Newport station (5 min walk) with access to multiple cafes and shops nearby on Mason street, with supermarkets only a short walk away as well.

Downstairs has the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, bathroom with connected laundry and adjacent toilet, living area and a large open area/kitchen setup. This leads out into a back porch with a small yard, outside clothesline and garage. The upstairs area contains the master bedroom/ensuite/office area occupied by Luke & Rob.

Both the front bedroom (currently available) and the kitchen/living space offer plenty of natural light and space for furniture. The front bedroom has a large wardrobe for clothes and storage. The internet modem and router is also situated in this room (best wifi signal in the house!)

The garage space is available for some storage but is predominantly used as a photography studio, however there is also plenty of free parking available just around the corner on Newcastle street.

About occupants
We are a couple, Rob & Luke looking for a fun housemate to add to our place in Newport.

Rob is 37 and works as a gym trainer as a day job and a photographer as a creative professional. He keeps active with gym and badminton/tennis but loves gaming in his downtime. Rob is an introvert at heart so having the right mix of social and quiet time is important, but always happy to geek out over games, sci-fi, photography and DnD.

Luke is 38, and works within the Procurement field for Government.
He enjoys sports and staying active, and plays badminton several times a week as well as Tennis. He is also an avid board gamer with an extensive collection. He is quite social, but also appreciates his quite time being more of an introvert (ISFJ)

We both enjoy having friends over for dinner, movie nights and games nights - and would like a housemate who is comfortable to do the same.

Our ideal housemate is someone who communicates well, is reliable, responsible, and sociable (but doesn't everyone say that?!)

We are looking for a housemate that we can have a good laugh with and do some things together with, but also respect that everyone needs their own time too.

A good communicator is important to us as a housemate - there's nothing that can't be solved by a chat over the kitchen bench!

In addition an open mind goes a long way - we are both active members in Melbourne's kink scene so while being part of that isn't at all mandatory, being comfortable and kink-positive is definitely an advantage in a housemate.
