Large room available 4.3m x 4.6m (see floor plan), with a double wardrobe. Our previous house mate had his bed and a couch in the room. You’ll have the main bathroom mostly to yourself aside from guest usage, and it is also used for laundry. There is plenty of storage in there too.

Description of the home

Two bedroom, two bathroom house with a study located in Heathmont, a 5 minute walk to the Heathmont shops or train station. There is also space for a car in the carport. The house has ducted heating, evaporative cooling and a split system in the main room.

The study is free for communal use, however I work from home 3 days per week and use the study for that. We also use this room for additional storage, as well as Jake’s musical instruments.

The dinning area and lounge room is a large open space with big windows, lots of colour and house plants. We don’t have a TV but we have a projector set up for movie nights.

The house is mainly furnished except for your room. However, we are open to rearranging any of the communal areas/changing furniture if you have any particular preferences.

The lounge area opens up to an undercover decking where we have a hammock. There is also under deck storage where we keep camping gear, bikes ect.

About the occupants
Jake (30) is a yoga teacher, works in mental health and is studying a masters of counselling. He loves nature, hiking, yoga, meditation and playing music.

I (Lauren, 28) work full-time in Sustainability. I love to travel, anything nature related (hiking, camping, beach days), baking vegan goodies and relaxing in the sunshine.

We are looking for someone who is down for communal dinners, movie nights and cups of tea. We are both vegan so someone who enjoys or is open to vegan food would be ideal! We both love adventures and are always down for exploring national parks, beach/river swims and trying new cafes/restaurants.

We enjoy the occasional night out but prefer dinner parties and board game nights. We are both quite introverted so enjoy our alone time/recharging our social batteries. We are early risers and typically go to bed quite early.
