Description of the home

I have a room to rent in my 3 bedroom brick home I am renting. The 3rd room is a study/office.

I am offering a furnished bedroom of good size with plenty of wardrobe space and a large chest of drawers. Double bed and bedside table including mirrored sliding wardrobes.

You’ll be living with myself and my cuddly cat. She is 13yo and a very loving Cat. You must love animals and in particular, Cats! I am a mature-aged female but young at heart!

This house is in an excellent location, close to Heatherdale Station and Mitcham Station and 5 minutes to Ringwood/Eastland. It is only 30 mins to City and close to all amenities. It is a beautiful area with tree-lined streets and a quiet, friendly neighborhood. The house has beautiful gardens and a large backyard with fruit trees (Grapefruit & Lemons) plus herbs, Rosemary and Sage. It is light-filled and airy and has an excellent vibe. There is a gorgeous back verandah over looking the backyard.

There is room for another vehicle as it has a long driveway and a carport. Alternatively, you could park on street.

Large shared lounge, dining room, kitchen and bathroom including a guest toilet.

I am hoping for a student who works part-time or someone between the age of 35 - 50yo but there is wiggle room who works part-time or full-time. I was working part-time and am a qualified Welfare/Community services worker. No illicit drugs but happy for a smoker (outside only) and ok with those who enjoy a drink. No pets or couples please. I Also ask that you are clean and tidy and independent.

This room and the rent includes all bills - elec/gas/water/Internet and wifi . I have cleaners who come here every fortnight and a gardener who manages the lawns and weeds every 3/4 weeks.

The house has a large split system in lounge, gas ducted heating and solar water heating. It works very well and I try not to overuse power. I am a big recycler and use a compost FOGO bin. All I ask is for respect and respect will be given in return. I have a washing machine and dryer (rarely used) and a system where I can cool the house internally throughout. It's a special place and I want a special housemate.
