Our beloved Swissy is moving up the road and so we have a great bedroom to rent in a double storey home in the heart of Brunswick East. The room is on the second floor of the house with built in robes, carpeted and a newly installed split system. Medium-large size room unfurnished, which fits a queen size bed and desk/draws comfortably.

The bond is $1320. (Monthly rent is $1,108 per calender month or 255pw). Room is available from Saturday 1 June, but can be flexible with move in date. Ideally would like someone in early June.

The house is fully furnished throughout. All modern appliances (including a dishwasher, gas stove top and split system) marble benchtops, broadband internet and fully equipped kitchen. We have hardwood floors downstairs in the kitchen and living area and a courtyard out the back with a BBQ. We have plenty of communal space, so we are not living on top of one another. If you have any furniture you would like to bring you are very welcome. There is also space downstairs, for those key board warriors working from home. We also have a nice big tub to soak in at the end of a long day and a gloriously large hot shower!

We are a stone’s throw from Lygon street and Sydney road and all of the great bars, restaurants, shops as well as walking distance from Nicholson street for the 96 tram in and out of the city. There are also two tram lines that run along Lygon street (1 & 6).

We are 1km from Barkly Square (for the kmart lovers) and even closer to the newly built Coles and Liquor Land on Nicholson street and if you’re a cyclist we are in one of the most cycle friendly areas which makes commuting in and out of the city ideal. If your a park dweller like me - we are walking distance from Princess park and the Merri creek trail.

Hello! My name is Dayna, I am a 36 year old Executive Assistant working in the city and a few days from home also. I spend a lot of time with my 3 year old best friend Archie who is a border collie/husky cross. He is the best boy, friendly and independent, walked twice daily and then basically sleeps the rest of the day between walks. You can have as much or as or as little to do with him as you wish, he is an inside dog though and will welcome in a new member to his pack warmly.

Chris is a 35 year old tradie, easy going and laid back, friendly, enjoys hiking, camping as well as unwinding with a series or video game. Fairly introverted but respectful and warm.
