Home Description

Description of the home

Welcome to your new Casa in Brunswick!

I’m looking for a new housemate to join me (and my charismatic-derp-of-a-cat, Theo 🐾) in this lovely 3-storey townhouse I’ve called home for five years. Sadly, my amazing housemate of four years is moving on, but I’m excited to welcome someone new to share this cozy, colourful, vibrant space.

Available from 31st July 2025, the townhouse is fully furnished, just bring your furniture for the bedroom. Rent is $350/week plus bills. We’re nestled in the beautiful heritage-listed Hoffman Brickworks precinct, right off Dawson Street. It’s a quiet, leafy spot with Gilpin Park as your front yard, and we’re just a short walk to tram 58 and Sydney Road’s shops, cafés, and nightlife.

The spare room: Park views and peaceful vibes, this room has been my go-to for guests and a home office, which we will share. This room also has large mirrored wardrobes, great light, and heating.

The rest of the house has high ceilings, open-plan living areas, great airflow, and a comfy, carpeted feel. There’s a washer, dryer, aircon, heating throughout, and even attic storage. We also have a backyard/carport with a covered clothesline.

The lease requires a 4-week bond.

Sound like a fit? I’d love to hear from you or answer any questions!

About occupants
I’m in my early 40s and work full-time as a designer (you’ll catch me working from home a couple of days a week, usually with a coffee in hand ☕). I’m tidy, respectful, and pretty low-key—but don’t be fooled, I have strong opinions about espresso.

Being of Italian descent, I love to cook, share meals but I'm completely respectful of boundaries and others' space. I am queer friendly, open minded, love a good laugh. I’m warm, friendly, a bit of a nurturer, and I love a good chat over a coffee or a glass of wine. That said, I also really value downtime and personal space, it’s all about the balance.

You’ll also be sharing the space with my furry flatmate, Theodore, a 9-year-old ginger cat with serious main-character energy. He’s an indoor cat, totally house-trained, generally chill, and sometimes an absolute derp. Expect random zoomies and the occasional dramatic flop. But mostlly he sleeps 18 hours per day.
Compatible people
A bit about you:
You’re kind-hearted, easy-going, and bring good vibes wherever you go. You enjoy a laugh, a chat over coffee (or wine!), and you’re all about clear, open communication. You know how to set and respect healthy boundaries, and you’re thoughtful when it comes to shared spaces, clean, tidy, and not a stranger to the dish rack. You're financially stable (adulting win!) and ideally have a soft spot for cats. Basically, you're someone who values a calm, happy home with the occasional house guest.

A few other things to note, you’ll need to sign onto the lease, bond is 4 weeks’ rent.

If this sounds like your kind of home, send me a DM, I’d love to hear from you or answer any questions!
