Home Description

Description of the home

The unit is in a great location, especially if you're a UQ student. It is 50 metres away from Indooroopilly Shopping Centre (very close to an Aldi), 20 metres away (across the road from) the train station. A 15 minute bus commute will take you directly to St Lucia campus. There's a beautiful river walk nearby as well. There's covered parking, but you may have to park on the street. You'll have a room with ample space for bed and desk. The photos I've uploaded look bleak, but we've furnished the place and its homey and light with the widows open.

The rent is $350 week that I'm willing to split evenly. Please contact me if you're male and interested.

About occupants
I'm 27 working on a degree at UQ (Linguistics and Writing). I'm quiet and reserved and spend a lot of time by myself (to recharge), but I like people. I don't have a television and refuse to have one anymore - I apologize if that's boring. By the time you move in I'll probably have a job (most likely support work) and will be busy. I play and run D&D, every once in a while. Lots to talk about if you like books and movies. I'm also active, and swim and play basketball at the local courts.
I'll certainly respect your space.
Compatible people
I think, it would be best if we're both busy and working towards something practical.

I'm believe in listening (and I enjoy it) to people and only opening my mouth after getting to know someone, and only if I think it's helpful. I always look for (and always find) the best qualities in the people who come through my life. Resting boundaries, is important to me, and being honest. I'm open to negotiate how we go about keeping the place clean and how we interact. At the end of the day, it's great to talk over food and drink.
