About occupants
I’m Jonas — 40y.o. and a full-time trainer and educator working with RTOs and the Queensland Education Department. I’ve always had a passion for the outdoors, especially rock climbing, and most weekends or long weekends you’ll find me out exploring somewhere around S.E Queensland. I’m also a dad to two awesome little humans — a 6y.o. girl and a 9y.o boy. They’re my best mates, and whenever I have them on weekends or during school holidays, we’re usually off on some kind of adventure together. When I’m kid free, I’m either resting at home, out climbing with friends, or just hanging out and enjoying the free time, by the way I love pub meals.
Compatible people
We’re looking for someone friendly, tidy, and open minded — someone who understands the importance of a safe, calm place for children and is comfortable having them around on a few weekdays (morning and nights). On weekends, the house is usually quiet and mostly child free, as their mum takes them for the weekends as well as I’m often out working or off on an adventure. You’re welcome to bring friends over and enjoy the space, as long as everything stays respectful and moderate, so the neighbours are happy. The goal is a relaxed, easy-going home where everyone feels comfortable and safe.
Description of pets
We don’t currently have pets in the house, but from time to time I may need to look after our two kelpies for a few days. This usually depends on how the kids’ mum arranges it. They’re well‑behaved dogs and fun to play with the ball. This is only an occasional thing; it could happen once in a month or not even. I will give a week notice before they come to hang out. Open to discuss pet accommodation for the new housemate.
