Home Description

Description of the home

One fully furnished bedroom is available in a beautiful terrace house in Waterloo. The bedroom is of medium size and comes with a single trundle bed, clothes/shoes rack, drawer, study desk, and study chair. The trundle bed has a second mattress undereath the top one in case you have a guest who wants to stay overnight. Please note that I am not able to dismantle or remove the bed due to not having storage on-site.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area with a TV, bathroom and laundry area with a dryer, and backyard area. It is close to a number of great cafes, restaurant and bars and is only 10min walk away from Danks St where you can find your local Aldi and Coles stores. Transport is either by train (Green Sq train station - 13min walk), metor (12min walk - very quick transport to the city) or a bus (bus stop on Elizabeth St 1-2 min walk) where you can travel to the city in around 20min. There are also a number of green spaces including Waterloo and Redfern parks within the walking distance.

About occupants
Hi, My name is Nima and I am currently training to be a web developer. I will be studying from home for the next couple of months. Personalitywise, I am pretty friendly, fun, easy-going, and organised. My hobbies include going for a run on a sunny day, catching up with friends, playing guitar, practicing a bit of yoga and mindfulness, and maybe watching a movie from time to time.

I am looking for someone clean, tidy, easy-going, and mindful of what it takes to look after a home. It would also be nice to have someone who is social and likes to hang out from time to time say going for a coffee or drinks. I do not expect a lot from a housemate, but there will be a few expectations just to make sure that the co-living experience will be enjoyable for both of us. This will not be a long list at all and most of it is just common sense daily tasks/chores which I would like you to be aware of before you move in. Once we have come to initial lease agreement, I will send you an email with more details on this.

Please note that this is not a party house, but low-key visits, such as a single friend or a partner occasionally, are fine. I do not accept smokers or anyone using recreational drugs, including outdoors near the property, as smoke and smell affect the living environment. This is a non-negotiable condition.

If this sounds like you, please feel free to reach out telling me a little bit about yourself, and what you enjoy. We can then go ahead and organise a viewing for you.
