The house is located on a leafy street, 5 min walk to Redfern station and equally close to a variety of cafes / restaurants / bars. There is also all day off street parking close by if you have a car and you can get a permit for on street parking.

The room is on the ground floor, the only bedroom room on the ground level of the house! It’s a really great size and has room for a desk if you are working from home. There is currently queen bed in the room and can easily fit a king. The room comes with the wardrobe also.

The house has a lot of living space, with a decent sized kitchen, lounge room as well as a backyard. There is also a small granny flat out the back that we use for extra storage.

Bills and expenses

Bills are split equally. Electricity and gas quarterly is roughly $150-$200 each & internet $20 a month and cleaner $25 a fortnight.

You'll be living with 3 people - Tenaya, Milly & Jas all in our 30’s and employed full time. All have good taste in music and great banter, everyone is just super chilled. I think the reason we all got along so well is because everyone is independent but enjoys the house feeling like a home. It's not unusual to have an after work hang out in the lounge/kitchen while cooking dinner, watch a movie or a series or even the odd board game or lounge room karaoke together and have a little chat about life.. every now and then head out to a bar or to gigs together as a house and mingle as well.. but we do understand when people want to do their own thing.
