Home Description

Description of the home

Room available in a quiet leafy street on the border of Coogee and Randwick. Plenty of on street parking always available. Only a 10 minute walk to Randwick junction, tram line and Coogee beach and a 20 minute bus to the CBD.

The apartment is two bedroom, however the second bedroom has no built in wardrobe.
I’m currently in the room with the BIW, however I am super open to moving rooms if you would prefer to have the one I am currently in.
Second room is currently unfurnished as I’ve always lived here by myself, so it’s been set up as a study/chill room.. but I do have bedside tables, lamps, a tall boy and bookshelf that can be available and I’d be happy to buy a free standing wardrobe and help organise a bed for you if needed.
Room with BIW: $430p/w
Room without BIW: $400p/w

About occupants
Hello, my name is Kirra.
I’m 32 and from Sydney.
I work as community support worker and hairdresser and have recently gone back to studies full time after having a midlife change of career crisis 😆
Me and my son, Jose (my chihuahua) have been living here for two years and love it so much, I have just resigned my lease for the next year, but with going back to study, I can no longer afford it all by myself!
I’m extremely down to earth, and love to have a laugh. I live a fun, social, active lifestyle, but I also loooove coming home, putting on some tunes (singing and dancing quite terribly haha), cooking a yummy dinner and curling up to some Netflix with Jose.
Compatible people
We are a very happy house here so looking for someone friendly, respectful, and easy going to join us. I take pride in the little home I have created, so someone who is clean and tidy and willing to do their part around the house to keep it that way ..and being a dog lover is a MUST, as you will have a new four legged friend that will probably follow you around like a shadow at times 🤣
Someone who likes to come home, have a chat and laugh together over a meal but can also live life independently, being respectful of each others time and space..
Friends are always welcomed and I want you to feel like this is your home so we can create a safe space with good harmony and vibes.
Someone who is reliable and dependable, your work schedule doesn’t matter to me as long as rent and bills are paid on time 🤣
Description of pets
As you can probably tell by now, my boy Jose is my little bestie. He is a 4yr old, male chihuahua, and whilst they usually have a bad reputation.. everyone who meets him adores him. He loves humans and he will probably give you no choice for a belly rub when he wants one 😂
