Home Description

Description of the home

Light filled apartment in the heart of Potts Point with sweeping views over Elizabeth Bay, available for a respectful and easygoing flatmate. Ideally looking for a permanent flatmate, but happy to consider commuters for part week rental as well.

The apartment is warm, comfortable and well set up for shared living. You’ll have access to the open plan living, dining and kitchen areas, a shared bathroom with shower and bath, washing machine & dryer, and a balcony overlooking the harbour, perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening.

It’s a relaxed and tidy home. I work from home about 2 or 3 days a week in my own dedicated space, so I won’t disturb you. The setup would suit someone independent, considerate and easy to live with. The location could not be better, steps from Rushcutters Bay and Beare Park, surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops, and an easy 25 minute walk to the CBD.

Rent is negotiable for part time use. The flat has fast WiFi, laundry facilities, a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and everything you need to feel at home.

About occupants
I’m 45 and live a fairly active life. During the week I’m either in the office or working from home, and after hours I like to get to the gym, catch up with friends, explore Sydney's culture or head off on a trip. Like my lifestyle, I keep my home simple, clean and organised, though I’m not militant about it. I’m happy to share the space with someone who’s independent, friendly and tidy. Someone over 30 would probably be a better fit for the setup.
Compatible people
I’m looking for someone easygoing, respectful and self sufficient, whether you need a place full time or just a few nights a week. The flat would suit someone independent but friendly, who’s happy doing their own thing but also up for a chat now and then. I’m open to arranging a regular cleaner if that’s something we both prefer.
