Large 4 bedroom single storey residence. Ornate tiled flooring throughout most of the house. Large kitchen with gas stove/oven. The entertaining areas include the large dining area (adjoining a separate ‘sun room’ on the western side), another separate living room which can be closed off and a back porch/large lawn area.

Two internal bathrooms, both with toilet/ shower. Large external laundry with washing machine/clothes dryer and gardening equipment storage. There is a separately leased ‘granny flat’ (leased to a nice young couple) down the right hand side of the rear lawn, which is fenced off and has access down the side driveway of the main house.

House in close proximity to lovely Petersham Park/Oval which contains the Fanny Durack Aquatic Centre. Three cafes within 3 mins walk. 7 minutes walk to either Petersham or Lewisham train stations. Plenty of buses are available from Petersham Station (eg 412, 445) or on Parramatta Rd (7 min walk). Taverners Hill tram stop is a 15 min walk. Very close to Petersham Bowling Club and The White Cockatoo pub.

Two train stops from Newtown and all its restaurants/shops/bars. Norton St Leichhardt also close by with its supermarkets.

About occupants
We’d love to make a new friend as well as find a new housemate. We are three fully employed Aussies who have moved together recently from another sharehouse close by in Stanmore. Anna (28) is WFH/office in a consultancy firm, Harry (28) works at a hotel in the city and Ed (45) works for an independent liquor chain. Our hours and schedules vary nicely and we are often not at home together, but we like to socialise together when we can, mostly on weekends. We love being opposite a beautiful park, being two doors down from the Petersham Bowling Club and having several great indoor entertainment areas to complement our back porch/lawn.
Compatible people
We are easy-going, friendly people with a good sense of humour who like a drama-free environment and don’t mind a little bit of noise or a few late nights. We would prefer someone who doesn’t work from home (at least full time) but if they do, working from their bedroom rather than setting up in common areas.
