We’ve converted our basement garage into a studio style bedroom with its own private living space. It’s by far the largest bedroom in the house. The only downside is it’s a basement, if you’re cool with that, then this could be the place for you.
The majority of the walls have been covered in black velvet curtains to make the room feel warm and cozy and it really adds a nice vibe to the space.
The sleeping and dressing area is about half the room and includes a queen size bed, bed side drawers, a large seperate set of drawers, shoe racks, table, clothes hanging area and the air conditioner which is vented externally.
The other half of the room is the living space which includes a large and super comfy 8 seater lounge, perfect for friends staying over, coffee tables with lamps, and an entertainment unit with 65” smart tv. There is a wifi booster for excellent internet. The wall in the living area is all acoustic panels.

Kam works in the city during the week, has Malaysian heritage so has been known to be cooking up something that smells delicious, when he’s not out, which isn’t that often. Can usually be found having drinks with Conor on a Friday.
Phil is the handyman of the house, is self employed, literally as a handyman. Easy going nice guy, always up for an chat.
It’s a friendly and social house, but we all run our own agendas.
