Three months minimum or longer term. Furnished bedroom for rent in unique two bedroom, TWO bathroom, quiet & private, security apartment in Maroubra. Sharing apartment with one other (professional male). This apartment is like a small home with an open space entrance landing, expansive sky, plus a leafy, tropical garden with pathway around the entire house. The front balcony off the living room has coastal views of Maroubra beach and headland and there are two other separate courtyards, two bathrooms, internal laundry room, hardwood floors, air con, internal gas heating and jacuzzi bath in the rented room bathroom. Polished floorboards are throughout the whole apartment. The apartment is one of only three apartments that are in the converted large house - Eden Monaro, built in 1927. The apartment is quiet and kept clean.

The room for rent with its own bathroom (pictured), is on one side of the apartment and down the hall offering privacy from the rest of the apartment. It has its own private sunny courtyard, floor-to-ceiling built in wardrobes, and a large private bathroom with jacuzzi bath, double sinks, separate shower and a bathroom window onto the bedroom courtyard. This bathroom is not used by the other occupant as the other bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. All other rooms are spacious, with separate kitchen (gas stovetop), dining, laundry and living (TV).

Only a 10 minute walk to shops, gym, beach and beautiful coastal rock pool. There is a main bus stop on the road outside with great public transport links, unlimited parking on the street and Sydney airport conveniently located 15-20 mins away by car. I’m heading overseas so the apartment is yours for a month.

My name is Rob and I love where I live. I have worked in the film and TV industry for 30 plus years as a stuntman/safety supervisor and now run my own business across safety and risk assessment in the film and television industry. My work takes me out of town for periods of time, this can be days, weeks and months away at a time. I’ve lived in this beautiful Maroubra apartment for over 10 years. I would describe myself as living a low key, healthy lifestyle, ocean swimming all year round, practicing yoga, meditation and gym training. On my down time I love to spend time at the beach, travel, visiting art galleries, reading and listening to music. I’m into early nights, am easy going, enjoy socializing but also like my privacy and quiet downtime. I require two weeks bond with four weeks notice for move out date.

I appreciate someone who is genuine, honest and clean. I like to think I am the same. A happy home atmosphere is key. The apartment doesn't always need to be quiet as I enjoy music. The apartment (except for bedrooms and bathrooms) is to be shared with the occupant. I don't watch much TV and tend to retreat to my room when I’m not at work. The apartment is here to be shared with a large screen smart TV in the living room, seperate dining area and outdoor areas. I particularly enjoy the outdoor areas of the apartment offering for a place for dining outdoors with courtyards galore and BBQ. There is kitchen gas top stove for cooking. Female preferred to share the space.
