Our home is a big, beautiful, light-filled house located in Freshwater on Sydney’s stunning Northern Beaches. We’re just 1km (10-minute walk) to both Freshwater and Curl Curl beaches, perfect for a swim, surf or coastal walk.
We’re in a quiet cul-de-sac, tucked away but super close to everything:
- 3-min (250m) walk to the express bus to the city
- 15-min flat walk to Warringah Mall and the B-line bus at Brookvale
- Around the corner from cafes, a supermarket, gyms, yoga/pilates studios, bars, breweries, pharmacy and parks (and the fab Freshie village)
THE SPACE
The house has a calm, coastal feel with plenty of space to spread out. It's set over two levels and includes:

AJ (my husband) runs his own mortgage broking business and works from home most days. He’s also a big fan of ultra running (yes, the 100km kind), trail running and triathlons - and frequenting the local breweries.
I work in marketing (spend lots of time in the city), and love anything creative, active and community-driven. We’re both early risers and love our morning beach runs/walks, coffees by the ocean and being out and about with our daughter.
Our daughter is 4.5, she’s curious, social, and always up for a game or a chat. She brings a lot of fun (and some loud snack requests) into the house, so it helps if you enjoy the company of kids or at least appreciate their wild little ways!
While this isn’t your typical share house, it’s a beautiful, light-filled home where we value calm, cleanliness and good conversation.
We’re tidy (but not obsessive), love good food, early nights and creating a peaceful space to call home. Ideal for someone looking for a warm, beachside place to land, especially if you’re kind, easygoing and appreciate a relaxed family vibe.
We’d love someone who’s clean and considerate in shared spaces, values open communication, and is emotionally mature, especially important in a home with a 4.5-year-old who is spirited, joyful and full of energy (and some big feelings!). If you understand that life with a little one means occasional Disney dance party, silliness and snack negotiations, you’ll fit right in.
We’re early risers and pretty active, so someone who shares a similar rhythm (or is at least understanding of it!) is ideal.
This setup could suit someone who’s looking for a beachside base, even if it’s just part-time. We’re open to short stays or flexible arrangements if it’s the right fit.
Most of all, we’re looking for someone who brings good energy, is reliable and is happy to share space with a relaxed, active family in a relaxed, low-drama household.
