Other information
The room on offer is the Master bedroom in the house, which is larger than most bedrooms I’ve ever seen. The current occupant has a Queen bed, desk, bookshelf and clothes closet in there, with plenty of space to spare.

The large wardrobe is on offer if our new roomie is interested, but there is no obligation to take this, of course.

Home Description

Description of the home

In addition to floorboards and high ceilings, our expansive abode comes with an exclusive double red door entrance with marble steps, since it was once the Elizabeth Bay post office. The location is ideal, being a 10 minute walk from Kings Cross station and 2 minute walk to the bay facing parks and tranquil water views.

We are also proud of the cosy atmosphere we have developed internally. We have loved this space for years and consider it a sanctuary - a source of inspiration, respite and dinners with kindred souls. I've held the lease since 2015 and this is very much so a "home," as opposed to just a share house. Warm, chill, open vibes are our MO.

About the occupants
Lexy - While it's always tricky describing oneself, I'll give it a red hot go - I'm 38 and do PR for a global property firm. I've held the lease for this apartment since 2015, and have always felt very lucky to have such a beautiful space and long-term flatmates. I’m single and sociable, but also a slightly quieter soul in my home life. On a typical evening I’ll head to a Barry's workout then curl up on the couch with a book or have a glass of wine and watch an episode of something with my flatmate Maddy. However, there are also several nights I need to keep working after a run or gym session.

Maddy is in her late twenties and works in fashion. I’d say some of her passions include knitting, softball, dissecting the plots of movies, and going to the beach.
Compatible people
We are both quite laid back and are looking for a similar soul. Someone who also views the home as a genuine home, who is looking to converse with their flatmates, while leading an autonomous life, is ideal. We would also appreciate someone who is enduring a similar full time work schedule, and isn’t looking to have loud gatherings etc. at home. However, of course you can throw a dinner party once in a while 🙌
