Description of the home

East Lindfield is a beautifully peaceful suburb while also being conveniently located close to everything the north shore has to offer. The house itself has the most amazing spacious living room which opens straight out onto the completely private and massive veranda, which is fantastic for entertaining with the breathtaking view looking out over nothing but trees - perfectly positioned to enjoy the stunningly gorgeous sunsets. About occupants
My name is Rhys, I'm a 40 year old guy, incredibly passionate working professional (Disability Inclusion Consultant), semi-professional athlete (wheelchair basketball), who loves making the most of the simple pleasures in life - definitely not a party animal! I WFH full-time and in my free time, if I'm not playing sport, I'll generally be relaxing at home watching tv/playing games/tinkering away at one of my many hobbies, or just enjoying the serenity out on the veranda!

I've also been a wheelchair user for 20+ years, due to a spinal cord injury from a car accident back when I was 19 - I'm completely independent and I don't need any help...other than changing lightbulbs perhaps, not my forte! 🤣 As you can tell, very comfortable/confident about my disability, along with a healthy/darker sense of humour to go with it haha. Always happy to answer any questions you might have about it though! 😁

The other housemate will be Andy, who is 27 and will be moving in at the end of Feb. He one of the nicest and most respectful people you could ever hope to meet, who is also an incredibly talented and dedicated athlete that spends most of his time training and competing internationally in wheelchair tennis (he only uses a wheelchair to play sport, not for every day use). Outside of his sport he works part time, enjoys catching up with friends, playing computer games, and relaxing at home. Due to his sporting commitments, he is frequently away for weeks/months at a time competing internationally, so the bathroom will only be shared while he is at home between trips.

Both of us are incredibly friendly and easy going guys who love a good chat (we're both country boys!), enjoy keeping fit, are very respectful of others and clean up after ourselves. The shared spaces in the house get cleaned every week through my NDIS funding, so very few chores will be required around the house.
Compatible people
Good communicator, respectful towards others, open minded, good sense of humour and a curious personality is a definite plus!
Description of pets
The photo-bombing extraordinaire is my adorable gentle giant of a golden retriever/floofball is Baxter, who is the sweetest, friendliest, and most hilariously dramatic pooch you could ever hope to meet. He actively wants to be EVERYBODY'S best friend without the slightest hesitation and no discrimination whatsoever!
