Wake up and watch the sunrise over ocean views of Bondi Beach from the large living room windows - lovely to do yoga by or simply have a coffee and chill. Apartment is older style 1930s, so big rooms and high ceilings but is largely unrenovated. The bathroom does have a deep spa bath though and there is potentially off street parking and possibly undercover parking once the garage is cleared out at the end of the year.

It is fully furnished and has 2 general living area - a large front living room and a smaller dining room area next to the smaller bedroom and kitchen. So nobody really gets in each other's way. There is also a very under-utilised large communal backyard which is a great BBQ space.

Large apartment in a block of 8 units is 20 min walk to Bondi Beach, 30 min walk to Bondi Junction train station (a little less to Westfield shopping centre) and 3 min walk to the bus stop and to lush Cooper Park.

I am a professional, female 60yo, currently based in Byron Bay but occasionally come to Sydney for some work and other events, catch up with friends etc. I have my own bedroom which is locked when I'm not in town, so there is plenty of alone time for the WFH person and the home is generally quite well stocked with kitchen, cleaning and other household supplies. There are two other rooms besides mine and they are both currently empty while renos are getting done, so this could suit friends who want to flat-share together
Compatible people
This could be a comfy, centrally located home for someone looking for a Sydney base or a soft landing if you are new to this city, as your room can be furnished if you like and there is no long-term lease. It’s more important that we get along with each other and then move on when it feels right. Older people are welcome, as are musicians. I don't live in Sydney much so it is really important that you are reliable with paying rent and can provide two personal references.
