I have a room for rent in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment (recently renovated) in Artarmon. The apartment has a large living area, large renovated fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and bathroom with bath (shared with one female). There is a large balcony that surrounds the living, dining and kitchen areas. Apartment is fully furnished including a sofa which folds out for guests, however, if you have furniture you'd like to bring then we can try and make room for it.

The apartment complex also has a pool with large deck area. We have 1 underground car space in a secure garage which I will not need, so it is yours for no extra charge if you need it. There are also ample visitor parking spaces for guests, or on-street parking.

The apartment is in a great location, with local shops just a 3 minute walk away, including takeaway, cafes and restaurants, convenience stores, dry cleaner, pharmacy, post office, ATMs and a liquor store. It is a 3 minute walk to Artarmon train station, with the city a 17 minute train ride away. Chatswood is 1 stop away, with access to supermarkets and large shopping centres. A 24 hour Gym is located around the corner, and there is a large soccer oval across the road, with basketball courts. Tennis courts are a 5 minute walk away and can be hired from the local tennis club.

Bills and expenses

Water is included in the rent price. Other bills (electricity and internet) are shared evenly between 2 people. Internet is $32.50/month pp. Electricity will vary based on usage, but is usually around $150/quarter pp.
