Spacious and bright 2-bedroom duplex in peaceful Pacific Paradise, located just 3 minutes’ drive from Mudjimba beach, and 10 minutes’ drive to Maroochydore and Coolum. The home has beautiful high ceilings, loads of natural light, and a cosy undercover outdoor area – great for relaxing or entertaining.
The main shared areas are the large lounge room which is open-plan with the kitchen and office/dining room areas. There’s also a sliding door heading outside in the lounge room, which leads to the undercover area and shed out the back.
It’s on a quiet street near Twin Waters, with super friendly neighbours and a lovely community vibe. There’s both on and off-street parking, plus a small shed out the back for extra storage. It's only a few minutes’ walk to the bus stop, and the local shops (Coles, chemist, servo etc) are walking distance or 2 minutes’ drive away.

Bills and expenses
Bills are water, electricity and internet. This will be split in half equally. Internet is $65 total each month, electricity and water TBC based on invoice.

I work full-time M-F (mostly in the office) and live a fairly chilled lifestyle. I love hosting a few friends for drinks or dinner during the week or on weekends, but I also enjoy quiet time reading in the sun and doing gardening. I keep the house clean, colourful, and filled with good energy and music. I alternate between being in the house just hanging out, or going out to Brisbane to see friends, live gigs or going camping. My previous housemate recently moved out and owned most of the furniture – so a few bits (like a dining table and TV) are still on their way!
I’m a vegetarian but I don’t mind if you cook meat in the house, I only ask if it’s anything that has a strong smell that you open the windows to ventilate the house. I’m also a big “hippie” aka I love all things holistic, crystals, am very passionate about the environment such as reducing waste and recycling. I’m also a plant lover and have a mass amount of indoor plants which are my babies, and I dabble in playing instruments as well, and have just purchased a guitar to learn how to play.
It's an open-door home where people can just drop in for a bit if they're passing by, and that would be the same for you and your network. It would be great if you are okay with having friends drop in, both mine and yours, and mine love getting to know knew people so it would be awesome if you would be open to joining in the conversation. (Of course I will respect if you would prefer solitude though).
It’s important that we’re both comfortable living together, so great communication will be key. I am also seeking someone who is environmentally conscious, or willing to embrace that mindset to a degree when in the house (think correct recycling, plastic alternatives where possible) But no one is perfect (even me!) so I don’t expect a gold standard for this, just someone willing to make a conscious effort.
