Home Description

Description of the home

I live in a corner home, in a decent, clean and respectful neighbourhood, where mostly families and retirees reside, 10 minutes away from the centre of Fremantle by bus. Numerous parks and green areas are nearby. Close to the main road and bus stops for easy transport, but far enough to avoid the traffic noise. The home is equipped with all kitchen and laundry appliances.

About occupants
My name is Carlos, and I'm in my forties. I have my own business, which is open every weekend from Friday to Sunday. I'm sometimes at home the rest of the week, where I do office work for my business.
In my spare time, I like reading, playing music, going for a stroll at the beach, playing soccer or bike riding. I like the outdoors and nature. When my workload is low, I like to go somewhere in the bush.
I prefer early evenings and early mornings when I am more productive.
I don't drink, smoke or use drugs, and I value cleanliness and order in the house.
My housemate is Juliette, she is in her thirties, she works in hospitality, mostly afternoons and night shifts. Similarly to me, her work schedule is busier on weekends, when the house is mostly empty. Due to her late-night shifts, her mornings are to resting and despite the difference in times, we respect each other's rest.
My daughter, who stays for a week every fortnight, is an angel, clean and organised, who understands the importance of respect when living with other people. She goes to a Waldorf school, so I try to keep the house environment simple and free of electronic devices. She has a similar sleeping routine to mine, but she is aware and respectful of everyone else's rest, as we have had tenants for many years without issues.
Compatible people
I'm looking for tenants who are clean, respectful and considerate, able to tidy after themselves to keep the common areas of the house in good order at all times.
I'm happy with sharing a good conversation or a meal, but also enjoy my alone time, so I expect someone self-sufficient and with initiative to solve any circumstance that could arise.
I'm also value honesty and openness to discuss any situation that comes as part of living together and find solutions that are positive for everyone.
Lastly, I find that it's important for me that tenants are reliable with rent payments on the day that is expected.
