Hi,
I am currently looking for a housemate to join me in a characterful little heritage cottage in the heart of South Melbourne. Directly on the number 1 tram line (city one way - beach the other!), walking distance to: Albert Park, Botanical Gardens, MSAC, MCG, CBD, Southbank, South Melbourne Market and the local supermarket on Clarendon Street etc. Also close enough to the freeway to escape the city on the weekends. In terms of location, you can't get much better than this!
The house is the perfect size. Easy to maintain and keep clean but with enough space to spread out. Lot's of sliding doors to get that feel of indoor/outdoor living. Awesome for having friends over for dinner, summer BBQs and the occasional winter cinema night (I have a ceiling mounted HD projector!).
All the living areas are furnished with a mix of old and new furniture etc. Plenty of books, board games, plants, "Dave-made" wonky pottery and comfy ‘lounging about’ areas. The house has two outdoor areas - one full of plants, outdoor dining table and BBQ, the other inner courtyard has artificial grass, more plants, corner seating and fire pit.
The bedroom is furnished with a cozy queen sized bed, floating shelf, bookshelf and large wardrobe. The room itself is carpeted, has high ceilings and a large skylight to to give that bright airy feel. A great size for a little(ish) house and will comfortably suit a couple or a individual.
There is on street parking out the front which requires a permit - I’ve got you covered 😉

Unlimited NBN Internet, Gas, Electricity and Water all split equally. Not a high usage generally - will often shop around for the best deals.

During the week, I work for a school and run all their school camps - I am often out for the week so the place would be all yours!
Outside of work I have a simple and active lifestyle. I enjoy hanging out with friends, exploring Victoria, finding hidden city gems or simply pottering around the house/garden. I am somewhat of a foodie and enjoy cooking up a storm in the kitchen ooor going out to find the best cheap eats in Melbourne. Music is also a huge love of mine too - Spotify is life!! Bring your playlists!
I am also trying to learn to surf and have recently started to learn Spanish - mi casa es su casa!
I like to keep the house clean, organised and simple, buuuut not over the top about it - we all get busy sometimes.
