Home Description

Description of the home

Light, bright & spacious, our apartment in the heart of Richmond is minutes via tram into the City, a stone throne throw to the park, and right by the river with walking/cycling trails galore.

Our top floor apartment has a large living dining kitchen space (though with dozens of restaurants nearby, you’ll likely not need to cook!) & balcony with views, perfect for a glass of wine.

The building features a pool, large gym, rooftop communal BBQ spaces, cinema room, Pilates and wellbeing studios, bike storage, secure resident and guest car parking (fees apply) and co-working and resident lounge spaces - all located right above the Traders grocery and shopping area.

You’ll be staying with the two of us (both Gay, males), one other flatmate (Gay, male) - & our very cuddly Labrador, Sherlock (dog, presents as straight but we’re not convinced, male).

About the occupants
Hi! Here’s a bit about us:

Rob & Geoff: a French-Aussie couple, having lived many years together in Richmond / Melbourne. Rob works in construction management, and Geoff in Human Resources. We love to travel, exploring new bars and restaurants, and TV binge sessions on the couch. We enjoy entertaining, and there’s always a bottle of wine open to share!

Matt: 27 years old and working in advertising. Recently moved to Melbourne from London. Goes to the gym 4-5 times a week & likes to go out and socialise / dancing on weekends !!
Compatible people
After many good short and long term flatmates, we’re after 1 flatmate to take a room in our apartment for the next few months.

Our ideal flatmate will be:
- LGBTQ friendly
- Dog friendly
- Generally clean and tidy
- Contributes to keeping the house in order
- Social (when you want to be!)
- Respectful to other people’s space, privacy and belongings

The bedroom is a decent size, equipped with queen size beds, built in robes, ducted heating cooling, and have plenty of natural light.

The bathroom is shared with large oversized shower (rain shower and hand shower) and plenty of drawer and cupboard storage.
Description of pets
We have one Labrador, Sherlock, who is a wannabe human and always ready for a walk to the P-A-R-K (don’t say the word) or a play, or a cuddle.

We often also foster seeing eye dogs in training, so you may have an extra four legged friend at times!

Our dogs are impeccably well trained (yes, everyone says that, but it is true) and you’ll often find them lazing in the sun or cuddling up for pats.

The building is very pet friendly with lots of other four legged residents - and even includes a ‘Pet Spa!’ But unfortunately with a dog already, this means we can’t always have other dogs staying with us - though happy to review on a case by case!
