Description of the home

I’m subletting my room in our Oakleigh sharehouse for September and October (dates are flexible, I can work around you). There’s also the option to jump on the lease from January next year if things line up!

The house:
It’s in a great spot—quiet street, heaps of street parking, and only a short walk to Oakleigh shops, cafes and the train station. Monash Uni is just 10 mins away too.
The house has 3 bedrooms, a bright sunroom, a study, a modern kitchen, a huge backyard (great for summer hangs), and a massive garage you can use for storage if you need.

The housemates:
You’ll be living with Brendan and Codey, both 24, working full-time. They’re easygoing, social, and always down for a good chat or chill night, but also respect each other’s space. We’re looking for someone who’s neat, friendly, in their early to mid 20s, and keen to fit into a relaxed and respectful house vibe.

The room:
It’s a cosy, light-filled space with big windows and great natural light. It’ll come fully furnished with a double bed, bedside table, shelves, etc. I’ll clear out all my personal stuff and wardrobe space before I go, but happy to chat about anything you might need and make it work.

Rent: $750/month – I’ll cover the rest during the sublet.
Bills are on top but generally super cheap.

The bills are generally quite cheap! Gas is the only slightly expensive one but they’re all split 3 ways.
