Keen to live by the beach? Sick of rent being so expensive in the inner city? Able to work remotely, or willing to get a local job (which there’s heaps of!)? Miss having a backyard or garden? Look no further than the master bedroom of our lovely Mount Martha home!
*** HOUSE & ROOM ***
- Location: walking distance to South Beach and Mt Martha Village. Less than 10mins drive/uber to the bustling strip of bars, pubs and restaurants at Mornington. 1hr drive to the CBD, which we do every Tuesday & Thursday for work.
- House: there is plenty of room as the house is quite large (4 bedrooms, 2 living areas and a detached studio/granny-flat). Since it has a north-facing aspect, there is an abundance of natural light. Air conditioning and heating throughout the house. The house has been recently renovated. There’s heaps of parking, both on-street and in our carports. It’s a very quiet neighbourhood area, so noise isn’t an issue. See photos for more details on the house.
- Room: your room is the master bedroom, which has its own recently renovated ensuite, built-in robes, and sliding door to the backyard. See photos.
- Furniture: the house will come fully furnished, except for your bedroom. We also have a garage, so there’ll be lots of space for your belongings.
- Timing: from approximately late May, though timing can be flexible.
- Duration: 3-4 months sublet (but we could also renting the room permanently, if that’s what you prefer).
- Price: $1,032 per month, excluding utility bills. Bond of 1 month’s rent will be required.

Occupants Description
- Sophie: works in marketing, and loves getting out in nature for walks, reading, doing pilates, and thrifting. Easily the most fashionable, trendy and cool person in the house.
- Elliot: works in recruiting, and has an addiction to golf that is bordering on unhealthy. Also loves playing just about any sport, from tennis to rugby. Side hustles as a DJ.
- 2 Dogs: Drippie is a duck-tolling retriever and Disco is a mini-cavoodle. Both are 4 years, so they’re well trained, past their puppy phase, and spend most their time sleeping / looking for cuddles.
- Everyone’s in their late 20s / early 30s, works pretty serious jobs and often work from home, so it’s not a 24/7 party house. On the other hand, it’s still quite a social house as we love hosting friends, hanging out after work and throwing the occasional party. We all value the usual housemate etiquette of being clean/tidy, considerate, respectful, etc.
