Room with Ensuite + Balconies in Melbourne CBD – $375/wk – July 1 Move In
CBD apartment less than 10 mins walk from both Southern Cross and Flagstaff station and Gardens. Minutes away from the busy Elizabeth/Swanston area yet away enough to have peace and quiet at night.
Looking for someone to move into a 2-bed, 2-bath apartment in the heart of the CBD. You’d get your own private ensuite, and I can offer a bed (single or double), desk, and chair if needed.
The apartment has a dishwasher, laundry (washer + dryer), and two balconies off the living space. It’s under-furnished at the moment, but I’m working on that. Rent is $375/week or $1,625/month - internet’s covered, and we split other bills.
Also: rent is frozen until July 2027, which is pretty nice.

I'm in my early 30s and work full-time in IT. I’ve just moved into this CBD apartment and I’m slowly getting it set up to feel like home. I’m pretty relaxed day-to-day - I like a tidy space, value a bit of quiet during the week, but I’m always up for a chat or a shared meal when the vibe’s right.
You can say I'm 'Asian Australian' if that helps give a sense of who I am - though where I’m “from” could turn into a whole 30-minute chat, so I’ll leave it at that.
Not looking to live in a party house, but definitely not after a totally silent one either. Just keen to create a space that feels comfortable, low-key, and respectful - where we both feel at ease coming home at the end of the day not worried about anything else.
If you’re someone who enjoys the occasional chat or shared meal but also values quiet time and personal space, we’ll probably get along well. Ideally, you’re working full-time, but I’m open to someone studying if you’re responsible and keep a steady routine.
I’m pretty flexible and laid-back, but I do value clear communication and mutual respect. Friends are more than welcome to visit just as long as the overall vibe of the home stays chill.
