Description of the home

Hi potential future housemates. Before going into describing my home could I please ask that only seriously interested people apply. I have very little time to spare at the moment but am excited to meet anyone who is really very interested instead of just "testing the waters". Many thanks and looking forward to meeting you.
NOTE: We have just moved in so I have only posted videos of the house from the website and am in the process of unpacking everything. So, if you are interested, happy to have a video call and show you around before meeting. ;)

I have a very large bedroom available in my new rental home for a new fab housemate. This house is a beautifully renovated with new carpets, polished floorboards and new kitchen and bathrooms. Located only a 10 min max walk or 2 min drive to the vibrant small shopping precinct of Jackson court, or if you prefer something bigger, Doncaster Shoppingtown is less than 10 mins drive away. We also have Devon Plaza and Tunstall square up the road. If you don't have a car, transport to either Doncaster or Box Hill is there with bus services that are minutes walk away.

The kitchen is equipped with gas stove top, grill and oven, stainless steel double fridge, dishwasher, microwave and appliances. Fully furnished but not the bedroom, with everything anyone could possibly need.
There is a front living area and dining room which leads through to the kitchen. From there the space opens up into the relaxed back lounge area.
Leading into the backyard, we have a 2 tier yard with the bottom being of stone with steps leading up to a small grassy area. Very easy to manage and rather lovely to sit outside in and catch the morning sun over a cup of coffee.

The bedroom available is 3.7m x 3m and can accommodate anything up to a king size bed with plenty of space for all other bedroom furnishings and a full wall of robes and cupboards. With double doors that lead out onto the outside balcony where you can chill in the egg chair reading, (or scrolling) the afternoons away. This room is $1129.50 pcm.
Rent is as per above listing - to be paid on the 8th of each month, plus bills which comprise of gas/electricity/water, all split equally. Internet will always be $23/month each and is Optus 5G.

About us:
My name is Jen and I am a Rescue Paramedic.
When I'm home I enjoy having a strong coffee and lazing my days away before getting stuck into the house and garden. I also love spending time with my two pups who currently live at my Mum's.

Vijay is an office executive. He lives in Sydney but he is in Melbourne working on a "special" project.
We enjoy coffee and chats in the morning if we are not running late, occasionally having a movie night with dinner but otherwise we just chill as we are both quite busy.

About you: We are looking to find an awesome housemate who will bring harmony and positivity into our home. A working professional who is clean, considerate and responsible; happy to contribute to the home vibe and household responsibilities.
