Other information
The bedroom is huge—plenty of space for a queen or king bed, a desk, and more, with a massive built-in wardrobe. It gets loads of natural light and has a brand new heating and cooling unit. It is up a flight of quite steep stairs so unfortunately not accessible for wheelchair users etc.

We also have a spare room downstairs that the current housemate is using as a studio, which would be perfect if you need some extra space for arts and crafts. You’d be totally welcome to use that room as your studio too.

Home Description

Description of the home

The house is in an awesome area, close to Smith St, as well as public transport, shops, bars, etc. We have one shared bathroom with a shower and toilet. There’s no off-street parking, but you can almost always find parking on the street. The house is fully furnished (except for your room), but I’m open to swapping out some furniture if you have some.

About occupants
You’d be living with me, Tat. I’m a 29-year-old woman working from home full-time in IT for the government, and I’ve got a small side business dyeing textiles. I’m into video games, music, board games, going out for drinks or gigs with mates, and various arts and crafts. I also have a cat and a Shetland Sheepdog, so bonus points if you love animals :)
Compatible people
I’d love to find a housemate I can be friends with, ideally someone creative who wouldn’t mind occasionally sharing meals or binge-watching shows together. I like to keep the place clean and tidy, so I’d appreciate a housemate who feels the same way.
Description of pets
Rigby is a 10 year old Shetland Sheepdog who loves a pat and a walk. Wally is a 12 year old longhair cat who would LOVE to sit in your lap and can be a little loud sometimes due to being completely deaf. They are both very well behaved (no counter surfing, accidents in the house, food stealing, excessive barking etc) and relaxed. They are both long haired so while I do vacuum weekly it's hard to completely prevent fur being around the house.
