I have only recently moved in. The house is situated in a block of 20 units in a quiet location with a strong community vibe. The historical town centre and community park is within walking distance and there is a large local IGA supermarket nearby. There is also a bus service to Launceston and return through Kinetic. The house comes fully furnished minus the bedroom and the smallest bedroom is available as a shared space to fit out as either a small two seater second lounge (for added privacy when the other wants to entertain guests) or an office space/extra storage for you. You will have access to your own bathroom and separate toilet. A puppy gate will be installed so that you can retreat to privacy away from the dog whenever you need. There is a small amount of space in the garage available for storage as well.

Bills and expenses

Rent is $455/week via Harcourts Real Estate and does not include utilities or internet. I would be looking to split rent 50/50. An application will need to be submitted to Harcourts for approval by the landlord and you will be added to the lease agreement.

Power costs will be divided fairly based on usage.

I have a basic NBN plan with unlimited data and 12mbps download speed which will be of no cost to yourself, however, if you wish to upgrade to faster download speed etc I am happy to go halves in the cost.

Hi, I'm Ebony, I'm 31 and work full-time as a Health Services Administrator. I live a quiet life at home with my 2yr old Golden Retriever (Molly). My interests include reading, writing short stories on my new (old) typewriter and curling up on the couch with a good cup of coffee/tea with Molly and watching period dramas. My more adventurous interests include riding my motorcycle, going motorcycle camping and filming my adventures on YouTube (when I get the motivation to at least).
Compatible people
I am looking for someone who is friendly and up for a chat or the occasional meal together, but respectful of each others space and privacy. Your friends and family are also welcome to visit and there is a designated visitor parking space, I only ask that you are mindful of our close neighbours and keep any gatherings to a reasonable hour and noise to a minimum. You are more than welcome to join me and my friends for the occasional wine and cheese night.

The ideal candidate will also love dogs and won't mind a bit of Golden glitter on their clothes (and furniture) and being smothered by a dramatic attention seeking Golden Retriever.
Description of pets
Molly is a 2yr old 30kg Golden Retriever who is both an indoor and outdoor dog and toilet trained. She knows her basic commands such as sit, stay, wait, lie down, shake and spin and has selective recall. She absolutely loves people and will try and smother you with her tongue and thinks she is a lap dog. She is full of energy in the morning and when you come home, particularly at zoomie time and can be quite chaotic, but she is pretty chill most of the day and sleeps. Molly will moan and groan and throw herself on the floor in a tantrum if you have the audacity to be anywhere without her. She is quite anxious with new environments, noises, textures etc so it is a constant work in progress with her training.
I aim to vacuum the house and furniture daily, however, Molly is a double coated Golden Retriever who sheds so fur on clothes etc is guaranteed so you need to be OK with pets and fur (and probably invest in a clothes brush).
