I'm a mature age professional worker and I'm often very busy so we may not cross paths other than on weekends.
My lifestyle is very low key, I study and work full time so my downtime is filled with tasks around the house like mowing the lawn, relaxing to watch a movie, walking or catching up with friends outside of the home. I rarely bring my friends home to socialise, as I prefer the sanctuary and peace of being at home. Plus the Gold Coast is filled with great places to dine and enjoy the outdoors, even in Winter.
I love animals but I don't currently have any pets. My last one passed away in December 2025 and it's not the right time to adopt a dog again, but maybe someday in the distant future after I have processed the grief.
My interests are on the creative side, drawing, painting, craft, visiting art galleries, talking about art and crafts, or watching interesting TV shows and documentaries. Yes I love our ABC programs, especially because they are free to air, also their comedies and drama's. Also a bit of SBS.
Most of my friends are creative people who are interesting, friendly and caring. The street is very friendly, we have a good sense of community here and look out for each other.
The beautiful Southport broad water and Australia Fair shopping centre are a 4 minute drive east or a 15 minute bus trip from the main street. The University is a 15-20 minute walk away, as is the Hospital. There are shops in all directions from here. Woolworths, Aldi, Coles, a choice of petrol stations, its a very liveable street that has gentrified in the last 5 years to include many professional workers from the Hospital and University.
Kind regards
Dee
