Welcome to our beautiful four-bedroom home in Helensvale! We have rooms available for both short-term and long-term stays.

The house features a swimming pool and is in a great location—just 13 minutes' drive to the beach, 2 minutes close to shops, and with easy access to public transport only 15mins walking distance to train station.

I’m the homeowner and live on-site. We’re a peaceful, friendly household of early risers and non-smokers. It's a home—not a party house—and we value respect, cleanliness, and personal space. That said, we enjoy the occasional dinner together and a good chat when it fits.

We're looking for like-minded individuals—genuine, easy-going, responsible, clean, and considerate. This would best suit someone quiet who doesn’t entertain from home, doesn’t smoke or drink, and ideally loves dogs (we’re definitely dog people!).

You’ll feel more like you're living with friends than just renting a room. I have a jet ski, and a mate with a boat often takes us out to the islands and cooks fresh fish for us—it's a great vibe.

We’ve hosted many international guests and always respect your downtime—whether you’re new to the area or just need a peaceful space to reset.

Bills and expenses

Board, Inclusions & House Terms

Your weekly board includes all essentials—water, electricity, high-speed internet, use of cookware, and access to the swimming pool.

We ask for two weeks of board in advance:

One week is held as a deposit, used at the end of your stay for a professional exit clean, including mattress, carpets, your bedroom, bathroom, fridge, kitchen areas, and shared spaces like couches.

The second week keeps you two weeks ahead—if you're ever late with payment, we simply draw from that and you can top it back up. When it's time to move on, your final week is already covered, so there's no need to make a final payment.

General wear and tear like light bulbs, aircon servicing, and appliance maintenance is covered. We just ask that if something is accidentally broken, please replace it—that’s our simple house policy.

We’re flexible, fair, and always open to a friendly chat—our goal is to make sure everyone feels comfortable, respected, and at home.

I'm Greek / South African in my 40's. I'm friendly, considerate and always up for a chat. I love to cook, I work in Health, beauty and travel. I have several interests, fishing, motorcycle riding or jet skiing otherwise home relaxing my gorgeous very cute dog, Miniature Pinscher who's 9 and 2.8kgs.

We are usually early risers during the week; quieter individuals would be ideal as I am a light sleeper.

We sometimes enjoy a meal together especially if I have caught a fresh catch or if we have a BBQ. Sometimes we even attend an event together or something else really fun going out on boat fishing.

This is a homely place to live, and we are easy going, friendly and kind. Good, wholesome and genuine people would be ideal. MUST Definitely be a NON-Smoker as I have asthma and heart condition.
We prefer NON-Drinkers occasional ok but not heavy.

Description of pets
Mia is my emotional support dog she is 2.8kilos, quiet at home, great alart dog, doesn't bark continually or unnecessary without reason. Is always happy to see us home otherwise I've been told she's quiet and chills out in my room. Chills out lays in the sun mainly with her mummy and goes out with her a lot of as well. Has anxiety so better suited to gentle dog people who can get down to her level (important). She has been know to chill out with housemates after getting to know them if you are open to it.
