Other information
decent sized apartment bedroom with master built in wardrobe. Currently extra sheets and linen are stored in one section of it but there's plenty of space for your clothing and extra belongings. Room has a shelf already in there for one to use as I'm not using the room currently. Windows within bedroom face the morning sun and thus is well lit throughout the day. Yes no bed is provided currently so if you have your own means of mattress/bed please by all means bring it along, you would be able to fit a double bed with no problem, perhaps even a queen depending on space needed with the rest of your belongings.

Home Description

Description of the home

The home is a decently sized Apartment that was renovated by the previous owner in 2022 just prior to myself (the current tenant) moving in.

Garage: Apartment comes with sheltered garage, As I do not drive currently if you have a vehicle you are more than welcome to use it as I'm not using it currently. Spare key for it will be provided upon moving in.

Living Room: Wooden Floors, white walls, inbuilt cupboard, heating, my sofa and coffee table. Room for a desk in the living room if you come with one. Over all a lovely cozy feeling upon entering the premises.

Kitchen: Directly next to the living room is the kitchen, complete with electric stove top oven, twin tub sink for dishes, raised cupboards for plates, glasses, etc. Microwave and utensils all found within the premises.

Laundry: Just past the kitchen we have the laundry where one can use the washing machine provided, the vacuum, excess shopping bags, and water heater for the apartment can be found within this room.

Balcony: Small covered balcony with sliding door for one to relax outside, have a little garden or to just get some fresh air. Only rule is to ensure my bird cages are closed prior to opening the sliding door outside.

Bathroom: small bathroom complete with wall mirror, sink with lower cupboards, shower and bath as well toilet. Room is placed in-between both bedrooms for ease of access as needed.

That about covers the description of the home aside from my bedroom and the bedroom listed in the ad. If you have any other questions feel free to call or text me as I'll be quicker to reply accordingly that way.

Home features

  • Air-conditioning
  • Broadband Internet
  • Clothes washer
  • Balcony, patio or deck

Bills and expenses

The rent I've listed above covers your end of the rent whilst living here as well usage of the electricity and internet. None of us pay for water thankfully and the oven is an electric stove top so no gas bills necessary. As for groceries, I don't expect money for groceries as we can pay for our own food. That being said though if we wish to split the cost of groceries for a shared supply I'm happy to do so.

About the occupants
Currently only occupant is me, Ajay Adey, I'm a young Aboriginal Australian man of 24 years of age. I work two jobs, one in medical research and one in retail at the local petstock. I'm a scruffy nerd who enjoys socialising, table top rpgs, video gaming, and spending time with my parrots. There was no option for birds in the pet section but I have four birds of my own. A quaker, two budgies and a cockatiel. They are all reasonably friendly and keep to themselves, I do like to let them out on occasion to fly around the living room, but to respect ones privacy and their safety They aren't allowed to roam freely in the apartment. Although I can be a bit of a night owl I respect ones privacy and sleeping routines. The only thing to consider really is in the morning my birds will start chirping once the sun rises. If you work early hours then it shouldn't impact you, but if you wish to sleep in during weekdays then having your bedroom door shut is recommended.
Compatible people
A good flatmate for me would be someone who's friendly, happy to respect eachothers space, loves animals!, pays rent on time and perhaps be a complete nerdy goofball like myself! Pets are also acceptable in my books as long as they are small, aka birds, fish, etc. Dogs are not allowed in my complex sadly unless they are registered companion/service animals. And I cannot have cats in my apartment as I own birds.
