You’ll be sharing the space with me and Daemon — my 9-year-old German Shepherd. He’s the soul of the house: super chill, friendly, and just wants to hang around in your general presence. He’s low maintenance but being okay with a big dog is non-negotiable — he’s part of the deal.
Kitchen is shared clean up. Dishwasher gets filled, washed, emptied.
Your bathroom (shared to two rooms) is flatmates responsibility to maintain. As I have my own ensuite.
Rest of the house is clean up after yourself, but as daemon as the run of the house there’s no expectation to clean up after him (there is a bit of fur)
Meet Daemon – The Real Star of the House
Daemon is a 9-year-old German Shepherd with a calm, gentle soul. He’s big, but incredibly soft-natured — the kind of dog who just wants to be near people, not all over them. He’s not a jumper, not a barker, and definitely not the type to get under your feet. He’s happiest just lounging nearby, keeping an eye on things like the quiet guardian of the house.
Daemon lives indoors full-time — it’s non-negotiable. He’s a senior boy who’s earned his comfort, and the backyard is just for sniffing around, not for living in. He’s incredibly well-behaved, house-trained, and used to a calm environment with people who respect his space and presence.
He doesn’t need much – a pat on the head, a few kind words, and the freedom to nap in the sun or sit beside you while you watch TV or work. He doesn’t beg, chew things, or create mess – in fact, most guests forget he’s there until he gives them a slow wag of the tail.
If you’re a dog lover (or even just dog-tolerant), you’ll find him to be peaceful, affectionate company. But if you’re not okay with sharing your space with a large, indoor dog, this house won’t be the right fit — Daemon is very much part of the home, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
