Home Description
Description of the home
It should be easy to find parking on the street near our house.
Ten minute walk to local shops including Coles. About a seven minute walk and a few stops on the ferry to get to QUT Gardens Point. Bus 196 stops frequently just around the corner, making transport to the city and other suburbs easy.
House is a unit in a complex of five, neighbours and street are quiet. We have one bathroom with a bathtub and shower, separated toilet, our own washing machine plus a coin operated washer downstairs, and a well-equipped open plan living room and kitchen.
House is without aircon but well-circulated. We've found it stays at a comfortable temperature and don't have to use floor fans or space heaters much, but don't mind if you do.
We're allowed to use the three clotheslines in the garden, and sit/walk out there, just no modifications.
There is also a very friendly outside cat living next door who is happy to make new friends, we've nicknamed her Meatball. She trusts strangers so much you can pick her up to cuddle.

Jemima - I'm a 19 year old uni student and spend most of my time there or in my room. I cook fairly often, but keep the shared areas clean. I'm a night owl, but not very loud.
Lani - My partner, also a 19 year old uni student. She keeps a similar schedule to me but works in the southern suburbs, so she's often away weekends.
Atlas - 19 year old TAFE culinary/patisserie student, graduating soon. Bakes very good sweet treats if you get along. Works long hours and often wakes early.
Basically, our most important requests are that you give good notice if you're having guests over, regularly clean up after yourself, and don't mind joining in with shared chores.
The inital bond of four weeks rent was filed under one name, and we are still deciding what to do with it.
Unfortunately we aren't looking for a male flatmate.
I hope we can get along :)
