Description of the home

This house is a large, furnished two room property, with a third room that can be used as an office, for storage or a third bed. The house includes two decks (one at the front, one at the back) as well as a big back yard. Inside there is a living room, dining room, seperate kitchen, and one bathroom.
Underneath the house is a generous amount of storage space, with plenty of room to park a car as well any anything else you want to store. There's also an undercover laundry with a washing machine (no dryer) and clotheslines on both the back deck and back yard.

Your room is a spacious side with a large wardrobe along the length of one wall (and extra storage space above). The room is currently unfurnished, though a queen size bed and mattress is available from the previous tenet for purchase if you need. Otherwise feel free to bring your own!

As mentioned, the 3rd room can be used for storage or set up to be an office or even extra lounge room, craft room or entertaining room.

Current furnishing for the shared area includes a lounge, TV, cabinet, book shelves and a record player. However I'm also very happy for you to bring along any furniture you like. I'd really like to make the space feel like a shared home for both of us.

Bills will be a cost in addition to the rent, and include internet ($54 a month), electricity and water. I also have Disney Plus, Netflix and Amazon (plus some others I'm probably forgetting) that I'm happy for you to use free of charge!

The house is in a great location for shops and transport. It is across the road from Market Central in Lutwyche, which has Coles, Woolies and Aldi, as well as well doctors and a food court. Close to Gympie road, there is easy access to buses both in and out of the city, and it's also a short walk (approx 5 mins) from Wooloowin Station.

In terms of lifestyle, besides the great backyard, deck and downstairs area, the house is also close to several gyms and swimming pools, as well as a five minute walk to Kedron Brook.

My name is Pearce — I'm a video editor and graphic designer whose days are a mix of working from home and going out to run video and art workshops for people with disabilities. My nights and weekends are a mix of writing, classes (I'm currently trying to overcome two left feet in a dance class), being unable to keep up with every show on TV right now, reading, photography, comedy shows, road trips (I love exploring the Sunshine Coast) and attempting various DIY projects to different levels of success (there's a lot of space downstairs if you also want to partake in any arts or crafts). I'm at the stage in life where falling asleep on the lounge feels like a little treat.
Otherwise you can find me at least twice a day walking my dog along Kedron Brook.

I'm pretty quiet and independent so I'm content going off and doing my own thing, but also happy to hang out and chat. I really want the house to feel like a home instead of just somewhere to rent. Even though the place is already furnished, I really want us to have co-ownership of the space — more than anything I'd love to make it feel like a shared home for both of us.
Description of pets
My dog is Rocket - he's a bichon frise/toy poodle cross. He's still one, so has a lot of puppy energy still, but he mostly just wants to hang out with people - he's a very social dog.
