Room has double bed, bedside table, and chest of drawers and hanging rack. There is room to add a desk and chair - which we have if you want to use. The windows open out and have screens and security guard, and full covering roll down blinds. Windows have reflective coating so no view into the room during the day time, from outside. The bedroom is on the east side of the house so it does not get direct afternoon sun. Bedding, towels provided. Standing fan and or bar heater available for use. This room is not air conditioned. The house is on a hill so there is usually a breeze.

The main bus route is the 205 near corner of Jerome St & Chatsworth Rd. We are a 20-25 minute drive to the CBD. Walking distance to Camp Hill supermarket and shopping village. Near the Whites Hill hiking reserve. Lots of coffee shops in walking distance.

Our home has a retro and comfortable feel. The bathroom and kitchen fixtures are older but all fully functional. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, which has both a shower and a bathtub. Our back patio is a really great place to hang out to watch the sunset and look at the city view. The house is breezy in summer on top of a hill.
We always make space in the fridge and pantry for our border to keep their own items. We have all the basic kitchen tools and items that you may use.

Bills and expenses

The room rate includes internet, water and power and use of detergents and toilet supplies. There is air conditioning in the family areas of the house which gets infrequent use because we live on a hill with breezes and because it's brick it rarely gets very hot inside.
