Home Description

Description of the home

The house is split over two levels, so there’s plenty of space to spread out and enough communal areas that everyone can still escape for quiet time when needed. There’s a large back deck overlooking parkland, a yard, undercover carport, main bathroom upstairs plus a smaller one downstairs.

Location-wise it’s super convenient — bus stop basically outside the door, three train station options within a five-minute drive, and pretty much every amenity you could need in every direction.

It’s a relaxed, comfortable home rather than a display home… and fair warning, the pets may judge you if you don’t pay the required cuddle tax. 😅

About occupants
Animal lover is probably an understatement. The cat (17yr old) runs the house, the dog (8mth old) and foster dog comes in a very close second, I’m mostly just the full-time snack dealer and professional door opener. 😅
I’m easygoing, respectful, and pretty grounded. I enjoy a calm home vibe, dont mind a good chat sometimes, need coffee in the mornings, maybe wine on weekends. Spend time outdoors when I can. I work full-time, volunteer in animal rescue, and appreciate a home that feels relaxed, considerate, and drama-free.
Not looking for perfection — just someone who’s a good human, communicates well, and understands that pets are basically family.

Looking for a legendary flatmate 🏡🐾
Must be:
An animal lover (bonus points if you talk to pets like they’re tiny housemates too).
Respectful of shared spaces — if toilet paper is running low, announce it, dont wait til there is none left. This is non-negotiable.
Easygoing, drama-free, and capable of adulting at least 78% of the time.
Happy with a home that feels calm, friendly, and lived in.
Financially responsible and understands rent is unfortunately a real thing.
Comfortable with a mix of social chats and respecting downtime.
Clean-ish. Not “display home” clean… but also not “science experiment growing in the sink” clean.
Ideal flatmate energy: Good human. Good vibes. Loves animals. Communicates like an adult. Undstand the animals come first😅
Description of pets
17 year cat and a puppy (so still learning) the cat is not keen on other cats and tolerant dogs when she wants to but loves humans especially when they feed her. Both are inside outside. Also foster dogs.
