This is a fairly quiet, relaxed home rather than a party house. Friends and visitors are welcome, but I'm looking for someone who also values having their own space and is respectful about noise and shared areas.
No parties/regular late nights or illicit drugs.
I'd like someone clean, considerate and easygoing who cleans up after themselves and shares the normal upkeep of common areas.
I live here with my friendly old dog, so you'll need to be comfortable living with a dog. No other pets as a general rule, although I may consider another dog if we can introduce them beforehand and they're genuinely compatible.
Good Christies Beach location close to supermarkets, the beach, swimming centre and gym.
Approximately 2 minutes' walk to the bus and 10–15 minutes' walk to the train station.

I run my business from home and teach small classes here 2–3 evenings a week and Saturday mornings. It’s pretty contained/non-intrusive and has never bothered anyone who’s lived here.
I'm an occasional outdoor smoker — evenings only, never inside.
My dog is old, very friendly and lives inside, so being genuinely comfortable with dogs (and providing the occasional pat!) is important.
I’m looking for someone friendly, considerate and easygoing who is happy to clean up after themselves and share the general cleaning of common areas. I already pay for the lawn mowing, and I’m also open to splitting the cost of a regular cleaner if that suits us both. If you enjoy pottering around or helping in the garden, that’s always welcome too!
I'm looking for one person rather than a couple. Short-term travelling couples may be considered separately.
You don't need to be highly social. In fact, this would probably suit someone fairly independent who likes having a peaceful home base, while still being friendly and considerate when we're sharing the space.
Ideally looking for someone for an initial 4–6 months, but if it’s a good fit for both of us, I’m very happy for it to be longer. There is a possibility I may move during toward the end of that time, although nothing is decided. If we get along well, moving together could also be an option.
