Hi all!
I’m Leah, I’m 25, originally from the UK, and I’ve been living in Australia for just over a year. I’ve recently accepted a FIFO role based out of Sydney to build experience in my field and will be working an 8/6 roster.
I’m aiming to move to Sydney around 10–12 January (flexible by a few days).
Location-wise, I’m looking for somewhere reasonably commutable to the airport. Ideal suburbs include Wolli Creek, Mascot, Arncliffe, Rockdale, Kogarah or Newtown, though I’m open to other well-connected areas.
Budget: up to $450 per week
House size: ideally no more than 3 other housemates, but flexible for the right fit.
A bit about me — I’m friendly, tidy and pretty easygoing. I love to cook and bake, enjoy a good book, and I’m always up for being social whether that’s hanging out at home or heading to a pub. I’m keen to live in a house that enjoys spending time together while also respecting each other’s space — and I’d love to make genuine friends through sharing.

Important personal qualities
I’m a considerate and empathetic person who’s always happy to listen and be supportive. I’m very tidy and respectful of shared spaces and always clean up after myself, so communal areas stay comfortable for everyone. I’m organised and reliable with rent and bills, and I like to keep things running smoothly at home. I’m friendly, easygoing and enjoy contributing to a positive, social household while still being mindful of everyone’s need for their own space.
Food sharing and furniture
I’m happy to do a mix of shared and individual food — I enjoy sharing staples and the occasional meal together, but I’m also very respectful of people having their own food preferences and space. I’m flexible and open to whatever system works best for the house.
Personally I’m not vegetarian or vegan, but I have been so am very considerate of others’ dietary choices and more than happy to accommodate or adapt when cooking.
I don’t currently have any large living room furniture, but I’m open to contributing or coordinating furniture if needed.
