For me, a good flatmate is someone who’s clean, respectful of shared spaces, and easy to communicate with. I appreciate people who are emotionally mature, reliable with bills, and mindful of noise. It’s also great when there’s a natural sense of mutual respect, everyone doing their part without needing to micromanage each other.
I don’t need to be best friends with my flatmates, but I do value a relaxed, friendly vibe where we can say hi, share the occasional meal or laugh, and still enjoy our own space.

I usually prefer to arrange my own food, but happy to share the occasional meal or cook together now and then. I'm not into sharing groceries day-to-day. I’m not vegetarian or vegan, but I eat pretty simply.
