Hi, I’m Arne, 23, from Germany
I’ll be coming to Melbourne for an exchange semester at Monash University (Clayton Campus) and I’m looking for a WG from 15 February to 15 July.
I’m currently doing my Master’s degree and living in Berlin, and I’ve lived in shared flats for several years, so I’m very familiar with WG life.
I’d describe myself as open-minded, empathetic and easy-going. I value open communication, mutual respect and a reasonable level of cleanliness. In my free time I enjoy sports, cafés, spending time with friends and exploring the city. On weekends I also like going out for a drink, but I’m not looking for a party house.
I’m looking for a friendly and social WG, ideally with other students or exchange students, where people enjoy cooking or chatting together from time to time while also respecting personal space.

Respectful, open-minded and reliable. I value clear communication, mutual consideration and a positive, friendly atmosphere at home. Being clean, honest and easy to live with is important to me, as well as respecting each other’s space and routines.
Food sharing and furniture
Happy to share basics like oil, spices or cleaning supplies, but also fine arranging my own food. Not vegetarian or vegan. I won’t be bringing furniture, but I’m flexible and happy to fit in with what’s already in the flat.
