I'm 38, Sydney born and bred (a shame, I know), and a staunch AFL girly who loves a beer garden, a great podcast, and a sunny day.
Me and my little gremlin, Izzy, are moving down in mid October, and looking for a place to set ourselves up while we get used to Melbourne. We'd definitely be open to long term with the right vibe!
I'm quiet, friendly, tidy in the common spaces (although can be a bit cluttered in my room 😅), and a reasonable cook (even though I have no sense of smell). Izzy is house trained, doesn't bark much at all, and while she loves people and other dogs, she's not keen on cats.
We come with some of our furniture, including a benchtop dishwasher, and are always up for a chat, shared meal, or a walk in the park.
I'm planning to have a job set up before I move down, so will be working full time.
I have lived alone for the last couple of years, although I'm from a big family, so understand the need for both downtime and keeping the house in good nick!
Would be happy to team up or move into an established place.

Important personal qualities
I've ended up good mates with my previous flatmate, so as long as the vibes are good, I'm pretty happy! I value honesty, kindness (to humans and animals), genuine people who like a cuppa or a beer as much as an early night.
I keep pretty standard hours, usually in bed winding down by about 8:30pm (such a Nana), and need my quiet time as much as social time - don't we all!

Food sharing and furniture
Pretty easy going when it comes to food - I batch cook a lot, as I'm from a big family, so always happy to share!
I'll be moving down with my bedroom furniture, plus a couple of other bits and bobs (a desk, my pantry shelving, and a couple of wheeled benches from my tiny kitchen), but won't have a couch, fridge, or anything bigger than that.

Description of pets
Izzy is a dachshund cross and very friendly - she loves nothing more than a cuddle or a good game of tug of war. Soft toys are at risk around her, but she's very good at limiting her chewing to her own things.
Not sure how she is with cats, but is good with other dogs and hasn't displayed any resource guarding or aggressive behaviour.
